But how can you keep your home smelling great in the midst of this heat? We reveal our top tips below.

With another heatwave stretching over our parched grasslands, it may feel counter-intuitive to welcome a naked flame into your home. But despite the mercury reaching worrying heights, our mission to ensure your homes are filled with fragrance never ends, and thus, we’ve compiled our top tips for keeping your space scented and feeling fresh.

Bringing your scent outdoors

The dusky summer evenings we’ve been treated to this summer have been nothing short of perfection. Why not take it up a notch and while you’re dining al-fresco, let your candles be a centrepiece. We’d lean towards a double wicked Stargazer scenting your evening skies (and make sure to keep an eye out for this scents namesake Cassiopeia in the nighttime constellations).

Flame-Free Fragrance.

When reaching for matches should be saved only for a BBQ, we turn to our soy -derived reed diffusers. These are a flame free way to add consistent scent to your room, come rain or shine. And while the sun has its hat on, we recommend bringing the positive vibes inside, with our Sicilian Sunbeam diffuser. The bright, fresh notes of lemon and mandarin will transport you to citrus groves from afar, while the seductive neroli flower sparks romantic vibes accentuated by natures golden rays.

Popping your wax melts into your drawers

Remember those singular samples you receive as a little thank you for buying from us? They’re a great way of scenting your clothes- and they’ll love the cool, dark depths of any chest of drawers. Just make sure they’re still in the original glassine bag, are free from any residual wax and they stay below a temperature of 20 degrees to avoid any risk of melting.

Small flame, mighty scent

Powered by only a singular tealight, wax melts are a great addition for infusing scent into your home without raising the temperature. Within 15 minutes of lighting, these small spheres of wax will make their presence known. As they’re bursting with scent, their fragrance notes will linger longer after the flame has been extinguished. Just as we tend to go a little funny in the heat, the same rule can be applied to your candles, wax melts and diffusers. Keep all of them out of direct sunlight to avoid your candle sweating (if this happens, simply pop a tissue on the top to blot the fragrance) or the oils in your diffusers being evaporated.
